Stamp Designs
Stamp designs are made by hitting silver plate or silver wire with a patterned chisel. The stamp designs can be organic or geometric in general. Some stamp work is the combination of both organic shapes with geometic shapes. The stamps made by stamping chisel gives the silver work flow and flair. Some stamp designs may be a special design that a Native American Indian silversmith may have made on thier own. Some stamps are made then resold to silversmiths by manufacters. These are the most basic catagories of stamps.
